Allan Moyo who was arrested on December 7 2020 for allegedly inciting public violence was granted zw$10000 bail, ordered to stay at his father’s residence until the matter is finalized and also to report every last Friday of the month at Malbereign Police Station.
Moyo was also ordered not to interfere with state witnesses.
Speaking soon after the granting of bail to his client Obey Shava ,expressed his delight in that the order that he sought was granted.
He added that spending 72 days in prison before trial is quite a lengthy period of time pending trial.
“The temptation after being successful in a matter of this nature is to mention that we had issues with how evidence which was favourable to him mysteriously disappeared from the record at the Magistrate court.” Added Shava.
Jephias Moyo the father to Allan who was close to tears with emotion could not hide his delight saying this was supposed to have happened at the Magistrate court adding that his son suffered for a charge that he could not even understand.
