In the battle of cities played at Sakubva Stadium, Bulawayo City edged hosts Mutare City Rovers by 1-0. A Mkhululi Moyo 12th minute strike was enough for Bulawayo City to inflict a seventh loss of the season for the hosts.
At Baobab Stadium two goals from Ronald Chitiyo and William Manondo were enough for Harare City to overpower hosts Ngezi Platinum.
It was the first game for Moses Chunga who replaced Taurai Mangwiro who was sacked after a string of poor results.
