High riding urban grooves artist, ExQ who was the main act at the just ended Unplugged concert held on Saturday at Wingate justified why he is still regarded as one of the last men standing in the once popular genre after putting a polished act that left fans asking for more.
The Coca-Cola sponsored event which saw internationally traveled group Mokomba igniting the show with songs from their latest album had everything to match a successful concert and most of the people who attend were treated to some fantastic music all day long.
ExQ had an outstanding performance mixing songs from his past albums to recent singles including Musalad, Bhachura, Nhema and many others.
During his performance, the shocked ExQ could only say, “I am shocked with the love you have showed me, this is amazing thank you. For me to be here you voted for me and you have come in your numbers to see me I love guys.”
His recent collaborations with Jah Prayzah, Ammara and Killer T seems to be rejuvenating his musical career following years of being in limbo.
