EPL Weekly

The overrated and annoying international break is over. Really takes the wind out your sails. I mean imagine you are on a roll and then this pointless break comes along. Anyway no previews last week, sorry, will do better, I promise.

So all the big guns won, most by a 4 goal margin. UTD did just enough, so did Leicester. Spurs were held to a draw.

Arsenal kept their title hopes alive, with a comprehensive 4-0 win over Watford. Iwobi the star again with some amazing play for a 19 year old. I mean he has more output, composure and tactical nous, than a 26 year old Walcott LOL (No football brain that boy.) Arsenal did what they had to do and they are now on their famous no pressure run where they rattle off 8 to 10 wins in a row. I don’t think it will be enough though.

City beat a hapless bournemouth, who should be safe this season so not much to play for. I am sure management was called by Pep to say get us into the CL. Can they stay consistent enough to keep UTD and Westham out??

UTD kept up the pressure on City, in a rather dull game. It got exciting toward the end though. Rashford is the real deal. Maybe a loan spell somewhere next season can see him blossom. Martial was the difference though as UTD kept chugging along. Lukaku was kept quiet mostly, I still don’t see him as a marquee striker (Is it just me??) I get the feeling he will always do well at an Everton or Spurs, but would crumble under the pressure if he took the step up!!!

Someone please stop Leicester. SOMEONE, ANYONE!!!! They are grinding games out now. Able to score one, and defend that advantage.

Oh hey Chelsea won. AGAINST Villa who know that they are going to the championships. Villa absolutely give no f***s right now!!!

Rankings:
1. Leicester remain here, and rightly so.
2. Spurs were held hey. Could be time for the infamous Spurs collapse
3. Arsenal, they seem to be getting it going. Elneny and Iwobi have injected some much needed urgency
4. City/UTD/Westham, Could be very real that Guardiola will be coaching in the Europa next season.
