President Emerson Mnangagwa has committed to revitalize the country’s health delivery system by upgrading medical infrastructure and equipment in clinics and district hospitals.
In his address during the State of Nation Address and Opening of the Second Session of the Ninth Parliament, Mnangagwa expressed gratitude to the United Arab Emirates and India for supporting the country’s efforts to modernize the health delivery system.
“I wish at this juncture, to pay tribute to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Government of India along with other partners for their generous support towards the modernization and revamping of our health delivery system,” said Mnangagwa.
Mnangagwa visited the UAE early this year where he received donation of medical drugs and equipment with the middle east giant also committing to build a pharmaceutical plant in the country.
