Gospel music lovers will be in for an early Christmas present with upcoming gospel artist, Best Masanire set to launch a singles collection album in December.
Masanire told 263chat that the album is a Christmas present for gospel music lovers and is composed of single tracks released throughout 2016 that he has put together.
“I have worked on so many singles including vakatadzei vana, ndinotenda, hatina pressure and kusuwa kwandaita so I thought I should give my fans an album,” he said.
On the new album, a copy of which is in the hands of 263Chat, fans will definitely fall in love with the track Kusuwa Kwandaita, which Masinire featured popular gospel choir Worship culture.
Ian Ngwenya who is organizing the event told 263Chat that preparations for the colorful event are at an advanced stage with invitations sent out to other upcoming and seasoned artistes who are expected to grace the event.
“We are almost there, we have managed to invite about four artists who will do some opening acts.
“We have also started band rehearsals, the venue is secured and we are now pushing on marketing the event,” said Ngwenya.
Masinire who started singing when he was still in primary with his three friends under a group called ‘Licafa’ began his solo career soon after completing his studies at Christian College of Southern Africa and has an album to his name titled ‘Nakusasa futhi’.
The new album will be launched at Joina City and other artistes who will grace the event include J Soldier, Simba EJay, Blesmore Chiwere and Beatrice Kwinnie Matewere with Nyasha Mutonhori coming in as a Guest artist.
