Entries are now being accepted for the DStv Ngoma Awards, the annual competition for Zimbabwe’s advertising communications industry.
The current competition focuses on advertising that was created and produced during 2016 and awards will be presented at a gala event in Harare on Saturday April 8.
Judy Macdonald, organiser of the competition, said entries were sought from all advertising agencies, as well as from Students aged 18 to 25 who are studying advertising in Zimbabwe.
“An exciting development this year is the promise of an internship for the winners in the three student categories: craft, concept and innovation,” she said.
The DStv Ngoma Awards are sponsored by Multichoice Zimbabwe and are organised by Meet the Challenge, with the support of the Zimbabwe Advertising Practitioners Association and the Creative Directors’ Forum.
