Crisis in Zimbabwe Coalition (CiZC) Chairperson Rashid Mahiya who was arrested yesterday in connection with shutdown protests was denied bail and remanded in custody to the 12th of March by Harare magistrate Rumbidzai Mugwagwa.
Magistrate Mugwagwa advised Mahiya to approach the High court for bail considerations.
Mahiya who is being charged of allegedly subverting a constitutionally elected government is being represented by Tonderai Bhatasara from the Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human rights.
