Urban Grooves songstress Cindy Munyavi has released a 26 track double album titled Music Vocal Cindy (MVC) which is expected to rejuvenate her music journey that had been overshadowed by the emergence of Zimdancehall.
Music Vocal Cindy carries the lead track Setter Pace which has four versions Original mix, Malawian mix and Ghana mix and Afro blesser remix.
The Malawian mix features female rapper Rina while the Ghana version has the vocals of RnB queen Sherifa Gunu.
This melodic collaboration projects songs that show Cindy’s vocal maturity over the years.
‘Setter Pace’ has an infectious energy that will soon have the country dancing to it and hamming to the foreign melodic tunes.
The song’s arrangement is set to guarantee the African and Zimbabwean listener a new favourite sound.
The album offers a flawless combination of dancehall, RnB, Pop songs with strong with groundbreaking collaborations from regional artists among them; Bongani Fassie, 2Face, Roberto Banda.
Some of the producers on the album are Tapps (Malawi), Shayzar, Rodney Beatz, Snagxy (Nigeria) Manje (Malawi) Elton Bryce, Nyasha Timbe and beats from a number of Zim and African production houses like Reyo, Ahsayn, Gavin dreamer.
