One of Zimbabwe’s biggest music-promoting companies, Chipaz promotion has started the 2023 showbiz calendar on a high note with several high profile musical events lined up across the country during the first four months of the year, including Makhadzi performing in Mutare.
The South African song bird, is expected to grace Mutare Motoring Club on April 7, which will be the first time she performs in the eastern border city.
In an interview with 263Chat, Chipaz promotion founder Patson Chimbodza was upbeat about this year’s calendar.

“Mutare has been starved of international acts we are giving them Makhadzi and Chitungwiza is the home ground for Macheso as it is said charity begins at home so thanks to Mumba of Damview for such a wonderful venue and wanting to work with our brand Chipaz promotion,” said Chimbodza
28 January all roads lead to Damview in Chitungwiza where Aleck Macheso, Progress Chipfumo and Freeman are going to be sharing the same stage for the first time this year.
On 1 April, Dzivarasekwa Stadium will be the place to be as it will host this year’s edition of Sungura vs Zimdancehall concert. Killer T, Seh Calaz and Freeman will be representing Zimdancehall while Peter Moyo, Somandla Ndebele and Baba Manyeruke will be representing Sungura.
