Chapter vows to take hip hop to another level

Fast rising hip-hop artist, Tinashe Kanyere, popularly known as Chapter has vowed to take hip hop music to another level.

Chapter told 263chat that the Hip Hop genre is on the verge of collapsing but he however promises to make the genus more popular.

“We want to give our local Hip-hip an international face and make it a product that can be consumed worldwide,” said Chapter promising that his latest offer is a threat to the much admired ZimDancehall.

“Unlike Zimdancehall, Hip Hop is not popular, but I’m here promising to make the genre an all-rounder,” he said.

He added, “I want to change the face of Hip Hop, a genre which is slowly being forgotten due to stiff completion from other types of music,”.

Chapter said that he started his musical carrier in 2015 after being inspired by friends who are also musicians.

“I was motivated by my friends, who are also artists, I decided to give it a try and since then I have not looked back.” he said.

Chapter who described himself as the Zimbabwean “WizKid” has a number of  singles. Some of the singles feature prominent artists including Ex-Q, Ngoni Kambabrami, J.M.P and Stunner.

The vibrant Chapter boosts of an album  dubbed  ‘Rise of the twisted nation’.
