The CEO Africa Roundtable (CEOART) will host a delegation from the Atlanta Black Chambers (ABC) – America in March this year as part of its initiative to bridge the investment gap between America and Africa.
The mission is a follow up to a trip that was undertaken by members of CEOART to America in June 2023 that sparked the interest of American investors looking to do business in various sectors including energy, agriculture and agro- processing, financial services, aviation, construction, manufacturing, mining, automotive ICT, transportation, real estate, and tourism.
The meeting led to the creation of the Global Opportunities Community (GOC) that will oversee projects running between both countries to yield maximum results.
The GOC is made up of teams from CEOART and ABC who will work together to ensure a seamless experience for local companies as well as their paired investors.
“The mission coming from America to Zimbabwe will have the opportunity to meet business leaders behind the various tabled projects for one-on-one meetings to discuss the finer details of their partnerships,” said CEOART Chief Executive Officer Kipson Gundani.
“We have set up several Business-to-Business sessions for that, however we will also host a business forum that will be open to top executives keen on hearing more about the opportunities presented under the GOC. Our partners from America will be with us in Harare for 6 days during which time they are also expected to pay a courtesy call on His Excellency, President Dr. E.D Mnangagwa.”
From Harare they will briefly visit Victoria Falls before they proceed to Zambia where they will be hosted by the CEO Africa Roundtable Zambia team.
They will also meet various business leaders in Zambia and participate in the Inaugural CEO Roundtable Zambia. The trip will expose them to the numerous opportunities available for investment as well as educate them on the systems on the ground in the respective countries.
The Atlanta Black Chambers is a non-profit organization that consists of individuals engaging in Business, Community and Government activities.
Their mission is to serve as an advocate for the creation and growth of competitive, profitable, and sustainable Black owned entities while providing quality education and training programs that emphasize economic development, ownership, and wealth building practices.
