As part of Delta Beverages’ efforts to promote the development of sport in tertiary institutions, the company will host the Carling Black Label ZTISU (Zimbabwe Tertiary Institutions Sports Union) Games for the second consecutive year. The games will run from 18 -22 June 2019 at the University of Zimbabwe.
ZTISU is made up of Technical Colleges Sports Association in Zimbabwe (TESAZ) made up of the eleven technical colleges in Zimbabwe, Zimbabwe Universities Sports Association (ZUSA) whose membership is fifteen universities and the Zimbabwe Teachers Colleges Sports Association (ZITCOSA) with thirteen member colleges.
This year’s edition of the Carling Black Label ZTISU Games has been extended to cover three disciplines, darts, pool and soccer through full sponsorship, while the rest of the games will receive a full complement of medals for the emerging champions. Carling Black Label has ensured that the pool and darts tournaments are highly competitive by awarding the champions with pool tables, dart boards and all the accessories. The soccer champions will receive soccer kits and balls. Medals and a floating trophy will be given to outstanding players and winning teams respectively.
Last year’s Champions, the Midlands State University men’s team and Seke Teacher’s College Ladies’ team were each rewarded with a pool table, floating trophies plus medals provided by the popular Carling Black Label brand.
