Popular indoor restaurant and bar, Red Café will this weekend open doors on its Harare branch with popular radio presenters Candice Mwakalyelye and Richard Kohola set to preside over the grand opening ceremony.
The outfit which has become a big name in Bulawayo, will have its Harare launch attended by a host of celebrities and socialites in what could set the joint on a success path.
In an interview with 263Chat, Red Cafe manager, Johannes Chipoyera said the bar will be the same with the Bulawayo Branch.
He confirmed that the red carpet event, will be graced by A-list celebrities and socialites from Harare and Bulawayo.
“What sets this place apart from the rest is that it’s a meeting place with a business centre complete with Wi-Fi, printers and photocopiers for the convenience of our clients who want to mix business and pleasure,” Chipoyera said.
For foodies, Chipoyera said a top chef has been hired to ensure that the place serves only the best cuisine.
Red Café Bulawayo has been one of the must visit places in the City of Kings and Chipoyera is upbeat that this will replicate itself with the Harare edition, set next to Private Lounge and Holly’s Hotel.
With no entry fee, the trendy joint, also used by many as a meeting place, often attracts diverse crowds because of its relaxed environment and resident bands which has become synonymous with the Red Cafe brand.
