Harare magistrate Gloria Takundwa has found opposition leader Tendai Biti guilty of contravening the Electoral Act.
Magistrate Takundwa said Biti’s address at the press conference constituted the official announcement of results.
Sentence yet to be passed as the court has adjourned for 20 minutes to hear mitigation from Biti’s lawyers Alec Muchadehama and Douglas Coltart.
