Boost For Local Artists As Coca-Cola Bankroll Unplugged Music Concert

Giant soft drink producer, Coca-cola has partnered Unplugged music concert to host monthly shows at Umwinzi Gardens in Harare.

The partnership which kicked off on Sunday with a concert that featured Prince Musarurwa and Pah Chihera.

The Marketing Activation Manager Vee Chibanda spoke to 263Chat at the launch and said “The reason why we have this partnership is we saw that unplugged is a platform that supports artists and it is also our mission to support local artists.”

“We saw that our consumers have passion for music because music brings us together and it is a universal language so we are going to be sponsoring unplugged until the end of the year” said Chidanda.

She encouraged the Coca-cola consumers to come to Unplugged music concert.

“I encourage our consumers to come to this universal language event so that you may have fun, relax, unite with us Coca-cola.”

The Unplugged concept is another platform that Coca-cola has invested to promote local artists. The company is already bankrolling the exquisite Coke on the beat which shows on ZBC every Saturday.

“We are ensuring our local artists that this is the platform for you to show case your talent,” said Chibanda.
