All is set for the eighth edition of the Miss University of Zimbabwe (UZ) beauty pageant happening tomorrow at the university’s premises.
The show, running under the theme, Light the passion, share the dream, will be graced by a youthful line-up of Tamy, Nutty O, Shashl, King 98 and Ishan.
Speaking to 263Chat, organizers of the event said this year’s theme was inspired by adjustments done to accommodate and advertise student initiatives.
“We have a whole different set up this year that inspired the theme, Light the passion, share the dream. We have come up with mechanisms to empower our very own students that are lighting up their different passions.
“The ticketing process that we would be using is an initiative of a UZ student, most artists who will be performing on the night are also UZ students. This is all in the name of celebrating our talents,” said Rotaract president Ropafadzo Shoko.
Supported by over 10 sponsors, the event will have 15 beauties fighting for the Miss University of Zimbabwe crown.
