Buy Zimbabwe is set to host the Buy Zimbabwe Awards on the 19th of December 2018, organized to celebrate local companies contributing and shaping the Zimbabwean economy.
In a press statement released yesterday, Buy Zimbabwe said the awards recognize remarkable leadership, commitment to excellence, developing best practices and innovative strategies.
“Buy Zimbabwe will be hosting the Buy Zimbabwe Awards on the 19th of December 2018 at Robbie Mupawose Business Hub, Showgrounds Harare. Buy Zimbabwe awards recognize remarkable leadership, commitment to excellence, developing best practices and innovative strategies.
“The Buy Zimbabwe Awards seeks to celebrate local companies who have contributed and shaped the Zimbabwean economy, and are visionaries behind today’s outstanding businesses. Winners of the Awards demonstrate resilience and commitment in creating jobs, reducing the import bill and raising the Zimbabwean Flag,” reads the statement.
According to Buy Zimbabwe, some of the nominees in the Best Company of the Year includes Nestle, BAT, Tongaat Hullets, Schweppes, Lafarge, National Foods, Nicoz Diamond, Dendairy, Cairns and Dairibord.
Insurance Company of the Year includes Nyaradzo, FML, Old Mutual, Nicoz Diamond, Cell Insurance, Champions Insurance, CIMAS, PSMAS, Doves, Cell Insurance, Champions Insurance, CIMAS, PSMAS.
Mining Company of the Year includes Zimplats, ZCDC, Mimosa, Metallon, Freda Rebecca, SME, Olomide, Capital Foods, Gango, Mr Brands, Radio Solutions, Tripple Tee, Hanawa, Chimla, Chitaitai, Cool Ice, Clean O, Happy Sky, Traylish, KUBI.
Other categories include ICT Company of the Year, Quality Award Retailer of the Year, Security Company of the year, Local Procurement Award and many others.
