Rising Zimdancehall artiste, Poptain Yardbwoy, yesterday released his new single, Ndakura, as part of his strategy to venture into the international music scene.
Born Ameen Jaleel Matanga, the 21 year old dancehall musician has been working on a number of singles with one of them released yesterday.
“I have been working on three new singles and i have released one of them.I had the basic beat for a year and a half. It sounded right for this project.

The new single, Ndakura is going to show my versatility in the music industry. It’s not merely dancehall but a fusion of different genres. So fans can expect something special,” said Poptain.
The talented singer says ‘Ndakura’, which was produced by Quazor is a dedication to his late mother.
Apart from the yet to be released songs, Poptain has also worked on a 6 track Extended Play , a project he did earlier this year with King Elly Baba, a Zambian musician.
The youthful artiste says he has worked with a number of artists including Princo Spiec and Lady Banks. He also expressed his zeal to partner with a number of local and international artistes.
Poptain, who draws inspiration from Mavado and Ricky Fire started his musical journey in 2014 after being encouraged by his friends.
He believes music is an antidote to social problems.
