Popular comedienne, Mai Titi, real name Felistas Murata, earlier today stormed social media seething in anger accusing her estranged husband, Tinashe Maphosa of stealing money from her.
In a video making rounds on social media, Mai Titi alleged that Maphosa stole money she had been keeping for her savings club, before flying back to America.
‘I took a trip to Victoria Falls… he stayed behind and stole money from my house that I had been keeping for a saving club. Soon afterwards, he flew back to America and told me he was urgently needed at work.
‘He was even staying with a relative of his at my place and as soon as he stole and left, he directed the relative to leave my house with immediate effect. Before he left, my helper even asked why he was leaving in my absence,’ said the socialite .
She revealed that she had since reported him to the police and swore that Maphosa would never return to Zimbabwe unless willing to be imprisoned.
The two had a flashy wedding in April that attracted nationwide attention. So big was the event that the national broadcaster, ZBC, sought rights to stream the auspicious occasion. To seal off the glam, they invited South African songstress Kelly Khumalo to entertain guests.
However, they did not entirely self-fund the wedding as it later emerged that they were owing certain individuals who had helped them bring about the magic.
It was through those debts that the two ended up splitting four months into the union. Mai Titi revealed that Maphosa was becoming reluctant to pay back what they owed.
