Following his meeting with President Emmerson Mnangagwa in Rwanda, Ivory Coast and Chelsea football legend Didier Drogba has announced that he will soon visit Zimbabwe.

Mnangagwa had earlier today posted on his Twitter account praising Drogba as a true African hero after their meeting.
Meanwhile, social media users have expressed mixed feelings over Mnangagwa’s meeting with Drogba with some accusing the President of begging for photos with high profile people.
“If Drogba was the one who had posted this picture, it would have been better Cde. A president of Zimbabwe shld be bigger than an Ivory Coast Football Association losing presidential candidate wangu. ED shld just learn self-respect, at least caz of the office he usurped,” said former People First party spokesperson.
If Drogba comes to Zimbabwe, he will join a long list of world football greats including the current Federation of International Football FIFA President Gianni Infantino who came at the invitation of former ZIFA President Phillip Chiyangwa.
