The Zimbabwe National Liberation War Veterans Association (ZNLWVA)’s national executive held a press conference in Harare on Thursday 6 November 2014. The war vets executive attacked the group which is calling itself “Elders of the war vets” who are trying to oust the war veterans’ national chairman Jabulani Sibanda saying that no such group existed. The organisation warned that ZANU-PF should not drag the liberation fighters into the liberation party’s factional fights.The press release was read out to the press by Cde James Kaunye the ZNLWVA Secretary for Publicity.
