Former ZANU PF parliamentarian, Tracy Mutinhiri, has ended her eight-year romance with the Nelson Chamisa led Movement for Democratic Change.
In a letter addressed to the party leader, Mutinhiri expressed that the announcement is accompanied by immediate action.
“This letter serves to inform you that I am tendering my resignation from your party with immediate effect,” said Mutinhiri in a statement.
Mutinhiri also thanked the party’s late founding father, Morgan Tsvangirai for accommodating her when she was expelled from the ruling party ZANU PF.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank most sincerely the late Morgan Tsvangirai who accepted me and accommodated me when I was expelled from ZANU PF and indeed yourself in the MDC family,” she said.
