Popular comedienne, Mai Titi has given “man of the moment” Mambo Dhuterere some advice on how best the trending singer can maintain the steam.
Born Darlington Mutseta, Dhutere is arguably 2019’s biggest find on the showbiz scene popping from the oblivion with his album Dare Guru after several attempts to make a breakthrough since 2015 when he released his debut project, Dhuterere.
Reacting to the Ndisesekedze hitmaker’s post in which he shared a photo together with his wife in their St John Apostolic Church of the Whole World garments, Mai Titi, real name Felistas Edwards, told Dhuterere that his wife is the secret for success.
“I love the fact yekuti munokoshesa mudzimayi wenyu that’s why muchibudirira. Mkadzi anounza makomborero mumba. Keep it going had a great time seeing u on stage kuchurch,”
(I love the fact that you treasure your wife, she is the reason for your success. A good wife brings blessing in the house)
Dhuterere is currently basking in glory after bagging his first award at the Prophet Emmanuel and Ruth Makandiwa Invitational Concert and Awards Night (Permican) awards last Friday. He walked away a winner in the Best Traditional Song category with his chat-busting Ndisesekedze.
He had been nominated for five categories, Song of the Year, Best Newcomer, Best Traditional, Best Songwriter and Best Collaboration category.
