Zimbabwe Situation Calls For Divine Intervention: ZINGOMA Trust

ZINGOMA Trust, an organisation that was set up by musicians to create a platform for artists to work together and develop the music industry in and across Zimbabwe’s borders, has set 6 December 2019 as a night to pray for the country after realizing that the nations problems now require “divine intervention”.

Running under the theme Love It, Pray For It, the night of prayer event will take place at in Waterfalls, Harare after the realization that the country’s situation now need divine intervention, according to ZINGOMA Trust director Futon Bheme.

“The challenges and the burden which everyone in our country is facing seek the Creator to intervene. The bible says in 2 Chronicles 7:14, If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land,” said Bheme.

He also explained the theme saying, “The theme is talking of love and prayer, you can’t pray for something that is not on heart, this goes an extra mile in shaping the canal mind to start putting hope of everything on earth to God.”

Artist welfare will also be a prayer point on the night.

“Our arts industry is also on the agenda for our prayers, there is a lot that we should do, some have lost hope in our industry such that they don’t even think that our Industry can bring a great change in their lives. Our arts industry is built by us and our prayers.

The All Night of Worship has a number of surprise big artists that were engaged to be part of the event.
