MUTARE- ZAOGA Forward in Faith Ministries will this Friday join the national clean up campaign and do duty at Mudzviti bus terminus in the central business district of Mutare.
This comes on the backdrop of the ministry taking heed of the national clean-up campaign launched by President Emmerson Mnangagwa last year.
According to Mutare district Pastor Talent Mayemu, ZAOGA members will join the nation to make Mutare look smart again.
“This Friday, as FIF Mutare, we will be joining the entire nation in the clean-up campaign by cleaning Mudzviti terminus. The campaign will start at 8:00am hours up to 10:00 hours,” said DP Mayemu.
Another church leader, Elder Simango said the church in Mutare will follow what their founder Apostle Ezekiel Guti did when he cleaned First street in Harare last month.
“As ZAOGA church, we will copy what our father has shown. We saw him all over the media doing the cleaning at First Street in Harare. Let’s all cooperate and be conscious with time. Let’s all come in our numbers as we will join our pastors from the province to clean up our diamond city”, Elder Simango said.
“So will be putting on our church regalia, anything labelled ZAOGA FIF. All people from other denominations and anybody is welcome to join us. Let’s all join hands in cleaning up our environment”, added Elder Simango.
President Emmerson Mnangagwa has declared the first Friday of every month a clean-up campaign day.
This April, Mnangagwa will be in Victoria Falls where he will lead the clean-up campaign.
