Zimbabwean based upcoming guitarist and vocalist, Rudo Chasi is set to complete the year with the release of a new single, You will be mine, sometime next month.
The Sunshine studios-produced love single is expected to put smiles on romantic music lovers with its blend of melodious vocals and well-coordinated instrumentation.
In an interview with 263chat, Chasi said the song encourages people to ease until happiness comes their way.
“You will be mine, discourages people from firmly holding on to something that does not exit and warns against chasing love with your everything as it will, at times elude you,” said the African Sun hit maker.
“The Song is about a girl who had a crush on a certain boy and she realizes that if she presses him too much, everything will fade away,” Chasi said.
“The song is a joyful melody that teaches about love and the peace and humility it generates.”
“I believe in love and its beauty and I am eager to write more about it. I just love writing love songs,” said Chasi, the 27 year old lawyer.
Chasi guaranteed her fans that she had poured her heart out on the track and had worked hard to give them something extraordinary.
“You will be mine is a song that is a bit different from my usual genre, Afro Jazz, so it’s something I had to put extra effort on to keep my fans satisfied,” she said before revealing that the song is a reggae vibe.
“I have an inclination for an impeccable music style and because some doors have already opened for me, I will make the best of that so as to grow as an artiste.”
The songstress, who boosts of one album, with trilling songs such as African sun, is currently working on her second album, which will feature artists such as the Mutare based hip-hop artist, Kritic Igwe.
The songbird’s most outstanding song is titled Some People, which up to date feels fresh and has left fans itching for more owing to the opulent message conveyed by the song.
