Lusitania Primary School Lands Microsoft Partnership Deal

Lisutania Primary School has made history by becoming the country’s first learning institution to partner global tech giant Microsoft after acquiring a Microsoft Certified Testing Centre status.

The testing centre was officially commissioned by the Minister of Primary and Secondary Education, Professor Paul Mavima at the school’s advanced computer science laboratory in Harare earlier today.

Speaking to the school’s Headmaster, Mr Oswald yesterday, he expressed  confidence in the school’s trajectory to digitize its operations and impact learners with advanced digital skills at a tender age.

“Its been a pleasure to host the Honorable Minister of Primary and Secondary Education, Professor Paul Mavima for the inaugural opening of our Microsoft Testing Centre here at the Lisutania Primary School computer science lab. We are proud in our efforts to make the school a modern learning institution through the adoption of advanced technologies that will help impact digital skills in our young scholars” said Mr. Oswald.

“We have partnered with Microsoft to bring in the required hardware and software to make our computer science lab a certified testing centre for any Microsoft certification. This will enable us to acquire an international status as a Microsoft Certified Testing centre, a development which is going to enrich our students, parents and the surrounding community” added Mr Oswald.
