Following the release of Jah Prayzah’s title track Chitubu, off his upcoming album, stakes have automatically gone up. Expectations are high that the new album will live up to its billing and restore Jah Prayzah’s dominance in the Zimbabwe’s music industry which appeared under threat from his former guitarist Baba Harare.
After loud outcry that the multi-award winning artist had dumped his traditional flair in search of international recognition, Chitubu could be a perfect answer that the lanky musician has indeed taken heed.

Unlike his previous delivery, Ronika which after two weeks had 1400 dislikes against 2400 likes, Chitubu has 3 700 likes and only 108 dislikes – as at time of publish, a clear distinction of how happy people are with the rebound.
After all it looks like Jah Prayzah’s waterloo is still far from near.
