Dembare, Bosso faces tough assignments in the weekend fixtures

Castle Lager Premier Soccer League week 12 will see Harare giants Dynamos lock horn with Triangle in a tricky encounter at Rufaro Stadium, whilst Bulawayo giants Highlanders will travel to Mandava Stadium to face FC Platinum in a tough encounter.

Dynamos have a difficult assignment against the Chiredzi based outfit Triangle who are currently flying high becoming the most scoring team in the league at the moment. On Sunday Triangle face-off with Dynamos at the National Sports Stadium in a top-of the table clash in a week 12 Castle Lager PSL encounter.

Separated by two points on the PSL log, the much anticipated match is expected to produce fireworks.

However, the current form of these two teams is worrisome as Dynamos have been struggling to score, whilst ‘Sugar Sugar Boys’ as they are affectionately known have been free-scoring, but their defence has suddenly become porous.

Triangle seem to be running out of steam as the last three fixtures have been disappointing for the Lowveld side and another loss this Sunday will be their straight forth defeat for Triangle who had become the pacesetters in the league.

On the other hands Dynamos’ conversion rate is a big worry for David Mandigora as the strikers are failing to convert chances in most of the games.

In another big encounter FC Platinum square it off with Highlanders at Mandava Stadium as history favours the Bulawayo giants.

The match will not be a walk in the park for Bongani Mafu’s charges, but playing away from home without the pressure from their fans Bosso might pull a shocker.

However FC Platinum is playing well of late and has lost only one match at their Mandava fortress and are the favourites going into this encounter.

The Gamecocks as Chicken Inn are affectionately known are the current log leaders despite losing to 1-0 to Hwange last week. They are leading with two points and they will be looking to extend lead when they square off with Buffaloes at Luveve Stadium.

Debutants Dongo Sawmills will travel to Harare to face fellow debutants Flame Lily at Lafarge Stadium. The visitors are winless in 11 games and they are desperate to avoid relegation, whilst Flame Lily will be hoping to extend their winning formula at Lafarge Stadium.

Action continues on Sunday as CAPS United who have just revised shareholding, travel to Bulawayo for the third time this season where they will clash with new-boys Tsholotsho at White City Stadium.

How Mine will battle it out with ZPC Kariba at Luveve Stadium, whilst newly promoted side Whawha will host Hwange at Ascot Stadium.
