Reshaad Sha Named Liquid Telecom SA’s New CEO

Liquid Telecom Group has appointed Reshaad Sha as the new CEO of Liquid Telecom South Africa, with effect from  1 June 2018. Reshaad is taking over from Kyle Whitehill who relinquished the leadership position in March this year.

Reshaad is a South African national and has been tasked to oversee the growth of digital services and the rollout of enhanced network services for enterprises and consumers across the country.

The new Liquid Telecom SA boss, served as CEO of SqwidNet, an open access Internet of Things (IoT) network operator before serving as Chief Strategy Officer and Executive Director of the open access fibre optic company Dark Fibre Africa.

Reshaad also has extensive international management experience having worked for a variety of global tech and telecoms companies, including Cisco and LogicaCMG.

Garth Schooling, Liquid Telecom’s Managing Executive of New Business Development, has been appointed as interim CEO since Kyle Whitehill’s departure in March. He will however remain in charge at Liquid Telecom South Africa until Reshaad’s arrival in June.
