Dynamos Football Club will this weekend take their continued hunt for the elusive full set of point to Nyamhunga stadium  in Kariba for what has been dubbed as the bottom of the table clash against another struggling side, ZPC Kariba.

The Lloyd Mutasa coached who lost to Bulawayo giants, Highlanders FC early this week, will be hoping for nothing but victory as pressure continue to mount on the club Chairman, Kenni Mubaiwa executive to resign amid reports of failing to manage prolific Cameroonian striker’s situation at Dynamos.

When 263Chat visited Dynamos at their training ground today, players were going through their routine sessions under the watchful eyes of Mutasa and his technical staff.

Dynamos have been creating a lot of chances but failing to convert them, with Mutasa telling 263Chat that he has done enough work on this area ahead of his team visit to Kariba.

He expressed concern over his team’s slow start to the season saying he is itching for his first win.

“1 out of 12 points is not good enough for a big club like us, we have done our part here at training and hopefully what we have done here will be reflected in Kariba.

“We are itching for our first win of the season, that’s not a secret, we are going to fight for those three points, but it is not going to be easy as every team that plays Dembare wants to collect maximum points, so we are expecting a tough match,” said Mutasa.

He gave an update on the situation with his injured players saying Peace Makaha is training with the rest of the squad though he is not yet fit to feature in Kariba.

“Makaha is now training with the rest of the team but for this week its to early to include him in the team, probably he will be available for selection in the next weeks game but for Mandiranga and Mukumba they are still doing light training,” said Mutasa.

He added that his team has been working on improving their shooting which has been their weakness in the previous games.

“This whole week we have been working on our rate of converting goals and we think that we have done what is needs to be done,” he said.

Dynamos have collected a single point from their opening four games, probably one of their worst start in recent times. On Sunday, the Harare giants fell to Highlanders in the battle of Zimbabwe, plunging their season into crisis with fans could baying for chairman Kenni Mubaiwa’s blood. Mutasa will be under pressure to deliver and could capitalize on ZPC Kariba which is facing problems that saw them failing to fulfill one of their fixtures this season.
