Commander of the Defence Forces, Constantine Chiwenga Monday breathed fire calling for an end to “purging” and “cleansing” of party members in the ruling Zanu PF warning the military will not “hesitate to step in and protect” the country from counter revolutionaries, as the Zanu PF succession wars rages on.
Addressing a press conference at the army headquarters in Harare, Chiwenga said the Zimbabwe Defence Forces is a major stockholder ready to guard the gains of the liberation struggle. Read more
