In an attempt to save face after recently grabbing headlines in the country following her violent acts in which she left a 15 year old South Africa model nursing wounds, First Lady Grace Mugabe has resorted to the bible claiming that she prays to God to overcome difficulties she face in life.
Addressing the seventh Zanu PF Presidential Youth Interface rally in Mkoba Gweru on Friday, Grace said she finds comfort in reading the bible which she said reminds that whoever accuse her of any wrongdoing will be defeated.
Read a biblical scripture from Isaiah 54 vs 17 which says ‘No weapon formed against you shall prosper’, Grace said, “Whenever I face difficulties I found comfort in this verse and I’m always reminded that whoever wants to fight me, I will always overcome, and whosoever accuses me of wrongdoing, I will defeat them.”
She appealed for unity in the party saying the Youths interface rallies were set by God to promote unity in the faction ridden party.
“I always emphasize on the need to be a united front and this stage (the Youth Interface) is the stage that was set aside for us by God to promote unity…”
“We must pray for the party’s leadership and we should pray for each other too. I pray on a daily basis asking God to give direction and thank him for our President and those around him so that they have wisdom to work for the betterment of Zimbabwe,” said Grace.
