Harare City Queens Football Club is targeting to play in top flight league next season and is working hard in the last half of the northern region division set to kick off this weekend.
Harare City Queens who are on top of the league, have signed Nyasha Zvawapira and Amanda Five as they move to cement their place at the summit of their league.
Scoring 91 in the first half of the season, Harare City Queens are focusing on their promotion by the end of the season.
263Chat visited Harare City Queens training session at Gwanzura stadium and talked to the team coach Rosemary Mugadza who expressed confidence of her team causing a stir in the premier league next season.
“We have won all our last two games which is a moral booster to the girls and the girls are improving every game.
“We have signed two players by mid season,” said Mugadza.
She added that their signing of two additional players will help balance the team in all departments.
“We are working to have promotion to the league because connection is what we need and the girls are ready to make it,” she said.
Mugadza noted that their goalkeeper is the best in the country which gives her the confidence adding that other experienced players who are geared to fight for the team.
