Prof Moyo, A Mole Causing Confusion In Govt: ZICOSU

A Zanu PF aligned students grouping, Zimbabwe Congress of Students Union (ZICOSU) has waded into the ruling party’s succession battles calling Professor Jonathan Moyo to order over his dismissal of Zimbabwe Defense Forces, General Constantino Chiwenga’s PHD.

Addressing a Press conference in Harare on Friday, a ZICOSU representative, Pignet Nhamburo labelled Moyo a circus of a minister and a mole causing confusion in the ruling party and government.

We wish to register our dismay at the numerous unfounded and factually false insinuations that the Commander of Defense Forces Cde Dr Chiwenga is not the owner of PHD thesis.

“We want to implore H.E President Cde Mugabe who is also the Chancellor of all state universities and students alike to censure this fool because he has gone too far.

“As students this is a time when our institutions of higher learning should be benefiting from strategic alliances and exchange of ideas with other regional and internationally acclaimed institutions such as UKZN. Instead of fostering relations and consolidating what was achieved by predecessors such as the late Cde Dr Mudenge, Moyo is destroying that legacy,” said Nhamburo.

He called on Moyo to apologize to University of KwaZulu Natal as his actions were likely going to strain relations between Zimbabwe and South Africa institutions.

“Professor Moyo must publicly apologize to UKZN,

“Moyo should concentrate on more important issues, as a student at UZ he should look into issues pertaining to fees and better learning facilities,” added Nhamburo.
