Nations have stepped up efforts to increase food security, at the same time intensifying actions against global warming through the adoption of clean sources of energy such as solar technology. Despite the current prevailing economic conditions, Zimbabwe is not to be outdone in the race to achieve the millennium goal of ensuring food security and migrating towards energy production using alternative clean sources such as solar harvesting. Samasco Solar Energy recently partnered Lorentz to launch solar water pumping solutions which can be adopted in Zimbabwe.
