Tsenengamu Granted Bail

High Court Judge, Priscilla Chigumba has today (Wednesday) granted expelled Zanu PF Mashonaland Central Youth Chairperson, Godfrey Tsenengamu US$100 bail.

Tsenengamu, who is facing charges of subverting a constitutionally-elected government, was granted bail following a concession by the state that he is a suitable candidate for bail.

Part of Tsenengamu’s bail conditions include reporting to the nearest police station once every Friday, surrendering his travel documents and not interfering with state witnesses.

Tsenengamu was arrested last month following a press conference where he allegedly called for President Mugabe to be replaced by his long time ally and Vice President, Emmerson Mnangagwa.

He also promised to disrupt any future political rallies to be staged by the first lady, Grace Mugabe.
