Zimbabwe’s representative in the CAF Confederations Cup, Ngezi Platinum are through to the next round after edging Mauritius side Pamplemouse 1-0 at the National stadium in Harare on Saturday to win the round on 2-1 aggregate.

Ngezi side who are in their maiden African safari appearance took the lead 23 minutes into the first half through Terrence Dzukamanja wonder strike that sealed the match as the visitors never recovered.
Ngezi coach Tonderai Ndiraya who fielded newly signed players including former Dynamos right back Godknows Murwira and Dominic Mukandi will face Ugandan side Vipers Sports Club in the next round which will be played in two weeks time.
Dzukamanja was a happy man after scoring the winning goal that send his team to the next round of the tournament after both teams shared spoils in Mauritius two weeks ago.
“I am happy to have provided the goal that gave them the pass to the next round of the CAF Confederations Cup,” said Dzukamanja.
Meanwhile, CAF Champions League representative, Caps United dispatched Lioli of Lesotho 2-1 to proceed to the next round where they will face the Democratic Republic of Congo giants TP Mazembe.
Makepekepe who played a nil all draw in Lesotho two weeks ago were looking for nothing but victory which was almost spoiled after the visitors scored what would have been a crucial away goal had the match ended in another stalemate.
Caps goals came through former Dynamos players, Ronald Chitiyo and Simba Nhivi.
