Area Business Managers – TelOne

The incumbents will be responsible to the Regional Business Unit Head.

Basic Function:

The main purpose of this job is to manage TelOne Business in the District area through planning, coordinating and executing the entire business activities in order to ensure profitability and efficient service delivery of TelOne services in the area. The Manager is responsible for client acquisition and retention, sales and revenue growth, debt tracing and collection as well as quality service delivery that will increase TelOne’s client satisfaction. The incumbent will ensure effective and efficient use of TelOne’s resources including the human capital and motor vehicles in his area of jurisdiction in order for the business to operate at optimum and productive levels.

The incumbent will be responsible to the Respective Area Business Manager.

Basic Function:

The Business Performance supervisor is expected to run all exchanges and client experience centers as Profit Centres.

Basic Function:

Program Accountant – Harare – SAfAIDS

SAfAIDS is a regional NGO working in southern Africa. It is a centre of excellence that promotes effective and ethical development responses to sexual reproductive health and rights, HIV and gender through advocacy, communication and social mobilisation.

SAfAIDS is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Program Accountant to join its dynamic team in its Regional Office in Zimbabwe.

Summary of Position:

The Program Accountant works under the guidance of the Finance and Operations Director to manage grants to SAfAIDS and ensure compliance with donor rules and regulations and other applicable guidelines. The Program Accountant ensures that expenditure is done in line with approved budgets and is responsible for all financial management and reporting.

Country Focal Point/Advocacy Change Mobilizer – PITCH (Partnership to Inspire, Transform and Connect the HIV response) – Harare – SAfAIDS

PITCH is an ambitious project that aims to work towards ending the AIDS epidemic in nine countries that are most affected by HIV. It focuses on building the institutional capacity of local civil society organisations to advocate, generate evidence and develop robust policy solutions.

PITCH is looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of country focal point for PITCH Zimbabwe. The position will be based at SAfAIDS Regional Office in Harare. SAfAIDS works in the southern Africa region and focuses on sexual reproductive health and rights, HIV and gender.

Summary of Position:

The Country Focal Point (CFP) is responsible for development of strategic vision and alignment among all elements of the PITCH programme. She/he advises and supports country partners’ work and facilitates collaboration among all partners in country. The CFP facilitates, and inspires the PITCH country partners to execute their work in collaboration for maximum impact as laid out in the Country Theory of Change.  The CFP has a key role in ensuring that communities of key populations, girls, women and youth are well centred in this programme. The CFP has an external role in representing and profiling the partnership in meetings and events in the country.

The CFP works in close collaboration with the team members in the Netherlands/UK and provides a link between national partners and team members in the Netherlands/UK. She/he facilitates thematic and political discussions among partners and shares intelligence about policies and situational changes in the country.

Consultant (Baseline Study/formative study expect) – SAYWHAT

Purpose:

To conduct a Baseline Survey on unmet health services and empowerment needs for vulnerable in-school adolescent girls and young women (15 – 24 years) including availability, accessibility, affordability and quality of Health services. The study shall also analyse availability and effect of empowerment mechanisms/opportunities for adolescent girls and young women, summarize the main trends, unmet health needs, operational and programmatic gaps and proffer recommendations to inform the implementation of the Big Sister Young Sister Project among other Initiatives in future.

Pauline Avigès Graham graduated from LSE with a BSc in Accounting in 1965. She was a scholarship recipient herself in Egypt where she was born and brought up. Having had the opportunity to study at LSE, she is now keen to be an education benefactor herself and has provided a generous endowment which enables the School to offer an annual scholarship of up to £15,000.
