As the food crisis continues to persist in many parts of the country, the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) has intensified its Productive Asset Creation (PAC) project to strengthen the country’s defenses against food shortages.
Under the project, Bhayu villagers in Zvishavane are in the process of creating the Bhayu weir in order to improve food security, income security and livelihood opportunities.
