#263Tech: HIT Student Designs A Telecommunications Monitoring System

John Chitsaka, an Electronic Engineering student at the Harare Institute of Technology (HIT) has designed a telecommunications monitoring system which allows telecom operators to smartly monitor their network infrastructures such as data centers, base stations and server rooms. The IOT based physical parameter monitoring system for telecom equipment is a cutting edge innovation, the first of its kind to be ever produced in Zimbabwe. This is a clear sign that Zimbabwe no longer need to import expensive systems from abroad since the country is blessed with such talented technocrats.
