BLACK Rhinos are top of the log after beating Hwange 3-0 at Morris Depot on Sunday.
Jameson Mukombwe, Milton Kureva and Vincent Mhandu were on target.
The win took them to 20 points while Ngezi Platinum are second with 19 points.
ZPC Kariba, who were dethroned by Ngezi Platinum after a 2-1 loss at Baobab, are third with 18 points.
Dynamos continue to sing the blues
DYNAMOS coach, Lloyd Mutasa yet again finds himself under immense pressure to turn around the fortunes of the struggling Harare giants after they were held to one-all draw by an impressive Shabanie Mine at the National Sports Stadium yesterday.
After the match, angry Dembare fans burst into song reminding Mutasa that he was in a precarious position, while outside the stadium, some of the fans were baying for his blood.

COSAFA- Warriors have to do it the hard way
The COSAFA draw was held in South Africa and the Zimbabwean Warriors face an uphill task if they have to conquer Southern Africa again.
Four-time COSAFA Castle Cup champions, Zimbabwe will once again come under the spotlight at the 20th year of the tournament they used to dominate over the years before falling down the pecking order.
The Warriors will have to negotiate their way from the preliminary round stages for the third successive year after being drawn in Group B alongside Mozambique, Seychelles and Madagascar.
The competition will run in South Africa’s North West province from June 25 to July 9.
Mighty Warrior on the move
The Mighty Warriors’ dance at the 2016 women’s AFCON finals in Cameroon continues to pay off as another Zimbabwean player Maud Mafuruse has been invited for trials at a top club in Iceland.
Mafuruse has been invited for a three-month trial stint at IBV Queens who are based in the capital city Reykjavik.
The 18-year-old Faith Drive striker, left Harare on Thursday and the move comes a few weeks after another Mighty Warriors striker Rutendo Makore had a trial stint in Egypt.

Chad end Zim FIBA Afrobasket dream
Zimbabwe lost to Chad 45-57 on day 2 in Bamako, Mali to mark end of the road for the team at the FIBA Afrobasket 2017 additional qualifier.
The loss to Chad was the second straight defeat for Zimbabwe after losing to the Central Africa Republic (CAR) 55- 79 on Friday evening.
Although Zimbabwe’s Tatenda Maturure came up with a terrific effort, his game-high 19 points made little difference to avoid his country’s second straight defeat.

Hamilton Masakadza stars in Zim A win over Canada
Hamilton Masakadza showed he is not a spent force in terms of limited-overs cricket when he smashed 146 runs off 131 balls to lead Zimbabwe ‘A’ to a 70-run victory over Canada in the third and final match at Harare Sports Club on Friday.
Zimbabwe will play one-day internationals (ODIs) against the Netherlands and Scotland on their way to Sri Lanka.

The curtain came down on European football leagues with some scintillating last day action.
In England, Chelsea FC capped off a fine season with a 5-1 rout of Sunderland as they were crowned Champions of England for the fifth time. Chelsea’s drubbing of Sunderland made sure the blues break their own record of 29 wins in a single season and are now on 30.
Harry Kane was the star performer as his second hat-rick in a the last two games saw him crowned the top goal scorer with 29 goals for Tottenham who finished the season on second position ahead of Manchester City on third position and Liverpool on third position. Arsenal who won 3-1 against Everton finished the log outside the top four for the first time in 2o years and will play in the Europa league together with Everton.
Juventus FC were also duly crowned champions of Italy on the same day that Real Madrid, their opponents in the UEFA Champions League, won their 33rd league title in Spain.
