Winning Uhuru Trophy Good For Dembare Youngsters: Samaita

Dynamos coach, Lloyd Mutasa believes winning the Independence trophy will boost morale in his newly assembled team of youngsters most of whom do not have experience in the premier league.

Mutasa’s team made of talented players such as Quality Kangadzi, Peace Makaha and Emanuel Mandiranga among others are poised for success judging by their performance since the commencing of the 2017 season.

Credited for giving the likes of Devon Chafa, Patson Jaure, Denver Mukamba who went on to excel in their football careers has earned Mutasa as one of the best coaches especially in terms of talent identification.

In an interview after the Highlanders game Mutasa said” I am hopeful that these boys will make a mark in our local league because they are reacting well to our coaching tactics.”

He applauded his coaching department for helping narture a crop of players who may go on to become the hope of Zimbabwe should they continue on their path.

“The guardians from other coaches like Biggie Zuze and Mr Tee the fitness trainer is making the boys have good performance in the pitch,” said Mutasa, widely known as Samaita in football circles.

He commented the Highlanders for a good game.

“I admired the Highlanders play because of the fighting spirit because when we thought that the match was over they came and surprised us with a good goal,” said Mutasa.

The Dynamos gaffer praised former Dynamos striker now plying his trade at Highlanders, Rodrick Mutuma saying his performance deserved credit.

“Mutuma had a good game today he showed character and I think his coach is giving him good supervision and if he keeps up his tempo he is heading for better future,” he said.
