Triangle walloped Whawha as Dynamos finally win

Castle Lager Premier Soccer League week 9 was full of thrilling results as Triangle whacked debutants Whawha 6-0 and Harare giants Dynamos finally win after losing their two previous games.

Triangle were on-fire to condemn Whawha by 6-0 to top the log-standings after Chicken Inn were held to one all draw on Saturday by ZPC Kariba at Gwanzura Stadium. Kelvin Kaindu’s charges ran roit at Gibbo Stadium and scored six past Whawha stopper to claim top position.

Whawha gaffer Lloyd Mutasa blamed the loss due to lack of complacency in his young sided team who had mid-week match against Dynamos.

“The youngsters lacked complacency and the Dynamos game was energy-sapping so playing another game in the same week was very tough,” revealed Mutasa.

Triangle coach was very pleased with his team’s scintillating and he hoped to maintain the fine form they are currently riding on.

“We want to set a standard when we are playing at our home ground and it is good that we maintained a record of good scoring at home,” said Kaindu.

Kaindu’s charges now have 20 points and they now have a better goal difference than their second placed rivals Chicken who drew over the weekend.

Triangle took control of the game to beat the prisons outfit to their second successive 6-0 drubbing inside two weeks and  Whawha become the solely team with the biggest lose.
