Transit Crew set to light up Marondera

Legendary reggae outfit Transit Crew will on Saturday light up  Marondera in a concert scheduled for Legends Sports bar.

The concert is expected to be an explosive night of reggae.

Transit Crew, one of the oldest reggae bands in the country, has recently been active in the music circles.

Last weekend they were in the mining town of Shamva, where they gave a thrilling performance and left  their legion of fans begging  for more.

‘It will be an interesting show as we host this Reggae session with Transit Crew on Saturday. We are thrilled to be hosting them as they are a legendary band. We are really looking forward to this show since this is their first time to play at Legends Sport Bar. We have brought the group to cater for all sections of fun.

‘Reggae fans were already pushing hard for Transit to come and perform here. People of Marondera are already excited about the show because they love reggae so much.

‘We are so honoured to be performing at Legends this weekend. We hope to meet all our fans and share with them the beautiful music called reggae. Marondera is near Harare so we urge even our Harare fans to come through and support us together with  the people of Marondera, in oneness and unity,’ said a representative of the band.

Transit crew recently launched their new Riddim with tracks by Mannex on the Nyukurai Riddim, Cello Culture and Mr Victor. A track to look out for is the popular ‘Ma Sweet Loving’  by Mannex .
