Yeukai Tsandukwa, who has several cases of robbing clients in the Avenues, appeared before a Harare Magistrate Nomsa Sabarauta facing charges of robbery involving $382 from her sister’s client.
Prosecutor Linda Gadzikwa told the court that the complainant, who was not named in the State case, allegedly approached one sex worker identified as Talent and offered her $20 for sexual services at N1 Hotel along Samora Machel.
Before going to N1 Hotel, Talent, who is still at large, allegedly told the complainant to take her to her house at Trekerel Court in the Avenues where he was ambushed by a group of sex-workers namely Ruvarashe Mungani, Rutendo Gogo, Charmeaine Mutenha, Chipo Nyamande and Melisa Chandisaita.
The woman allegedly stripped the man naked before demanding cash and robbed him of $300 in cash.
Besides the cash, the client was ordered to transfer cash into Tsandukwa’s Ecocash account.
Tsandukwa and her accomplices who are still at large stole $382 and nothing was recovered. Tsandukwa’s lawyer Tawanda Takaendesa did not apply for bail since his client already has pending case of the similar nature before the courts. Zifmnews.com
