“Joining Military Touch was not a mistake”: Andy Muridzo

Fast rising contemporary musician Andy Muridzo has dismissed assertions that his move to Jah Prayzah’s Military Touch Movement could spell doom for his promising career saying joining the Watora Mari hitmaker’s stable is a positive step in his musical career.

Born Kudzai Andrew Ngwenya and popularly known as Andy Muridzo was signed to Join Jah Prayzah’s stable (MTM) earlier this year.

The stable currently compromising of three other local artists namely,  Nutty O, ExQ and Tahle, to make them five with Jah Prayzah and Andy Muridzo.

When Andy made this move, many music lovers insisted that it was not wise for him to work under Jah Prayzah, with his fans believing the it was a strategy to manipulate him as he was becoming a threat to the multi-award winning musician’s career.

In an interview with 263Chat, Muridzo said,” MTM is an advantage to me,I cannot be great like Tuku by using the same steps he used but i can be great like him by using my own steps,so life is about what you want”.

“Joining MTM was a move for my life and my career, JP is not a fool who builts something that he would want to destroy, I am his product so why would he want to temper with my career.”

Muridzo recently launched his new album “Tichambotenderera” which he believes will set him up for the regional and international market as it has different genres to suite everyone.
